Ultimate Complete Audio System
- AM/FM CD Player & Speakers installation.
Ultimate Complete Audio System is composed of the below items:
o UnAmplified Chrome Speakers
o Antenna (Click here to view either
Dipole or
Rubber Antenna)
o Amplified Radio
(AM/FM CD Players)
Below is an example of how to use an AM/FM CD Player with LCD Remote Control
to make a great customer audio system for your bike.
The AM/FM CD Player can be installed just about anywhere on your motorcycle.
The full function wired Remote Control with LCD display can be mounted by
the handlebars, or in any easy to reach place, up to 19 feet away from the
AM/FM CD Player. With the wired LCD Remote Control, you can maintain
complete control over the features of the AM/FM CD Player, even if the AM/FM
CD Player is mounted in a hidden place (saddlebag, travel trunk, etc).
Wireless remotes work off of LINE OF SITE, this means that in order for them
to work, they must be pointed at the exposed sensory of the stereo. With the
AM/FM CD Player the full function wired LCD remote can be mounted anywhere
within the aprox 16 foot cable length and the radio and CD Player functions
can then be controlled without having to see, or touch the main unit.
This radio has
a built in clock that runs all the time, even when the bike it turned off.
This clock has a very low draw, but when your bike is not running, to
prevent a low/dead battery, we recommend that you do one of the following
1. Wire the radio so that it turns off everything with the key
or
2. When you kill your bike, either remove the faceplate, or push the open
button and leave the faceplate in the open (flipped-down) position. This
will disconnect the power to the faceplate and prevent you from having a
dead/low battery.
The system installs in 3 EASY STEPS
Step #1: The 4" Chrome Speakers are installed on the
handlebars or crashbars.

Step
#2: AM/FM CD Player is installed in either the saddle bag or travel trunk.
Keep in mind that in order for the anti-skip mechanism to work on
the cd player, the cd player must be installed either laying flat or within
30 degrees, otherwise the cd player will skip.
Some customers
choose to mount the cd player vertically in their saddlebag, when mounted
vertically all functions will work, but the anti-skip mechanism will not
work.
